It’s almost more than the human eye can take in
Do you know what throwing a rock into this stream would do?
Distortion. Throwing a rock would ruin the perfect,
at least for a time. But creation has a way of dealing with
disequilibrium…time, patience, gentleness.
Maybe if we stopped throwing rocks at each other,
demeaning and damning words,
hate-filled accusations and threats,
maybe the universal healing inherent
in creation would work its wonder
on us.
It’s worth a try.
